AGDA Student Awards 2008 - Deadline Extended to Friday 8 August - How to enter
Step 1 - Submit your online entries
All entries for the 9th AGDA National Biennial Awards 2008 are to be entered via the ‘My awards entries’ link on the awards website (right hand side of page). This includes entries into the Student categories. You may submit as many entries as you like, and you also have the opportunity to save and revise your entries at your convenience before you register them. NOTE: Because the Student Awards are judged online, there is no need to send physical boards of your work.
Step 2 - Prepare your online entry artwork
Before you finally 'submit' your entries, you must upload PDF images to accompany each entry. Each PDF is to be A4 size saved with high-quality but lower resolution settings. You can upload up to 3 PDFs with each entry; you may wish to group a number of images on the one A4 page. NOTE: Once an entry is registered, the images cannot be re-supplied. Please check your images thoroughly before you submit.
Step 3 - Register and pay for your entries
Once you have reviewed your entries and are satisfied your artwork is correct, you can register your entries. Your registration can be for one or more entries - you can select which ones you wish to register (and leave off the ones you wish to complete at a later date if desired).
Print off your registration(s) as an Entry Summary and Tax Invoice.
You can pay immediately via Credit Card or elect to pay by either cheque or money order and send in your payment. When your entries have been registered, they are ‘locked in’ and cannot be changed - no exceptions made.
Step 4 - Complete your Declaration
Download, complete and sign the Declaration Form. All the entries must be original creations or property of the design student, design institution or any individual student involved in creating the design piece. Entrants/institutions declare that they are owners of the designs; that no rights of third parties will be infringed by their publication; that they grant AGDA the right to reproduce their entries for publishing, display or exhibition.
Step 5 - Deliver your Declaration and Entry Summary
Your completed and signed Declaration Form, a copy of the Entry Summary/Tax Invoice and any payments are to be mailed to:
