2010 AGDA Student Awards

Due to an overwhelming response from students and educational institutions, the AGDA Student Awards deadline for entries has now been extended to Wednesday 18 August 2010.

The AGDA National Biennial Awards recognises the excellent work produced within the education context and the AGDA Students Awards have been established to:

celebrate the best design student achievements and define excellence in Australian design education.
promote the pool of talent by featuring their work in the online showcase of finalists and winners.

What the judges are looking for:

Original thinking
Innovative solution
Functionality and useability
Brand aesthetics and effectiveness

Student Awards are judged online, so there is no necessity to submit physical samples or boards of the work.

Click on the 'Awards Categories' link on the right hand column of this Student Home page and decide on the categories for your entries.
Read the contents of the 'How to enter' link and familiarise with the process.
Fill in the entry forms online via 'My award entries' link and click on 'ADD NEW ENTRY' to make your first entry and any other entries.

Follow the instructions on this online entry form and you will also be able to attach your PDF images as part of the entry. You can attach up to 3 PDFs with each entry. Each PDF is to be A4 in size. You can group a number of images on the one A4 page.

You can make payment when the form or forms are completed by selecting credit card or cheque/money order.

Don't forget to download the Declaration Form fill it out and send it off. If you have problems with getting this signed off, please email communications@agda.com.au for an extension to the deadline.

Please note: If you are having difficulties having your declaration form signed, we can offer a few days grace on receiving paperwork. Please email the communications officer if you need assistance with this matter - communications@agda.com.au

If paying by cheque, attach the cheque with your Declaration form or forms.
